This Processing & Availability Disclaimer explains important information about processing services, USDA processing, custom processing, deer processing, local meat availability, pricing, scheduling, and customer responsibilities at Farmers Pride Processing LLC.
Call Before You Haul or Visit
Customers should always call Farmers Pride Processing LLC before hauling livestock, bringing deer, driving in for local meat, or relying on website information. Scheduling, capacity, drop-off instructions, inspection availability, product inventory, pricing, and pickup details must be confirmed directly with Farmers Pride Processing LLC.
USDA Processing
USDA inspected processing may be available for customers who need meat processed for resale or other inspected-use purposes. USDA processing must be scheduled and handled according to applicable inspection requirements, facility availability, animal type, timing, and current processing capacity.
Customers are responsible for confirming whether USDA processing is required for their intended use. If meat will be sold, distributed, labeled, transported, stored, or used commercially, customers should confirm all applicable laws, regulations, and requirements before scheduling processing or selling any finished product.
Custom Processing
Custom processing is generally for the owner’s personal, household, family, employee, or non-paying guest use and is not the same as USDA inspected processing for resale. Custom processed meat is not intended for retail sale.
If you plan to sell meat, provide meat to paying customers, use meat in a commercial setting, or distribute meat beyond allowed personal-use purposes, ask about USDA inspected processing before scheduling.
Deer Processing
Deer processing is seasonal and subject to capacity, staffing, cooler space, current demand, and drop-off requirements. Farmers Pride Processing LLC may limit or pause deer intake when capacity is reached.
Hunters should call ahead for current deer processing availability, drop-off instructions, packaging options, sausage options, pickup timing, and any seasonal requirements.
Deer coming from Alabama must be deboned before being brought to Farmers Pride Processing LLC. Whole deer from Alabama should not be brought for drop-off. Customers are responsible for following all applicable wildlife, transport, and carcass movement rules before transporting deer or venison.
Animal Types and Processing Options
Farmers Pride Processing LLC may process beef, pork, goat, lamb, sheep, deer, and other services as available. Processing options, cut sheets, sausage options, dry aging, packaging, and specialty requests depend on animal type, schedule, facility capacity, inspection status, and current availability.
Not all services, cuts, packaging options, dry aging options, or specialty items are available at all times.
Local Meat Availability
Local meat products, including ground beef, cubed steak, pork sausage, beef boxes, whole or half beef, whole or half hog, freezer meat, and other items, are available only when inventory allows.
Inventory may change quickly and may sell out without notice. Website content, social media posts, prior pricing, photos, or older promotions do not guarantee current availability.
Pricing and Payment
Prices, fees, deposits, payment methods, product availability, processing availability, and pickup requirements may change without notice. Customers should call to confirm current pricing and payment requirements before scheduling processing, placing an order, or driving to the facility.
Scheduling and Capacity
Processing is scheduled work and is subject to capacity. A phone call, voicemail, email, form submission, text message, or website visit does not guarantee an appointment, drop-off spot, product reservation, processing slot, or pickup date.
Appointments, drop-off windows, pickup timing, and processing timelines may change due to season, animal type, workload, inspection requirements, staffing, equipment, weather, holidays, or other operational needs.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for providing accurate information, following all drop-off and pickup instructions, completing cut sheets or order details, picking up finished products on time, and complying with applicable laws and regulations.
Customers are also responsible for understanding the difference between USDA inspected processing and custom processing, for following Alabama deer deboning requirements when applicable, and for making sure their intended use of finished meat is lawful.
Food Handling After Pickup
Once meat is picked up, customers are responsible for proper transport, refrigeration, freezing, storage, thawing, cooking, labeling, and handling. Farmers Pride Processing LLC is not responsible for meat after pickup if it is mishandled, left unrefrigerated, improperly stored, or transported incorrectly.
